New test results - H1N1 Influenza A Virus (Swine Flu) EN 14476
We are pleased to announce that Enduro Hand Disinfectant and Endurocide® Curtain Liquid have passed EN 14476 against H1N1 Swine Flu.
EN 14476 is a quantitative suspension test designed to evaluate virucidal disinfectant performance. A pass result is > log 4 reduction (99.99% kill rate) in 60 minutes.
Our results were:
- Enduro Hand Disinfectant: > log 4 in 1 minute
- Endurocide® Curtain Liquid: > log 5 in 5 minutes
Swine Flu is transmitted by inhalation or ingestion and therefore to minimise the risk of infection it is important to:
- keep hands clean and sanitised
- reduce transmission via hospital curtains
